Layritz Baseball – U13
Age Requirements
U13 Baseball is for players born in 2009 and 2010
General Info
The U13 Division is tiered with both the ‘A’ and ‘AA’ teams playing an interlocked season with the other teams within the Greater Victoria Baseball Association (GVBA), which leads to City Championships. If an ‘AAA’ Team is formed it is a provincial team with travel and is considered full season running until the end of July.
If you Played at Layrtiz Little League and want to stay at your home park you can be grandfathered in at Layrtiz from any other catchment area.
The spring season begins first week of April and plays until the end of June, with playoffs beginning in mid-June.
Games will not only be played at Layritz Park, but at fields throughout the Greater Victoria area, including Gordon Head, Triangle, Peninsula, Esquimalt and Carnarvon.
As a result, time slots and frequency of games will NOT be consistent on a weekly basis. Coaches will select game slots at a preseason scheduling meeting and will inform families once teams have been selected.
